The Taraqqi Pasand Tehreek, or the Urdu Progressives Movement, of the 20th century was a powerful literary movement spearheaded by Indian literary greats. Originally having been created as part of the freedom fighting movement, the Progressives were influential throughout their country, with their radical beliefs and hopes for liberation of all kinds.
